Why train at Connect?

Connect is not your ordinary gym. There are no machines, no mirrors and most importantly - no egos. Instead, there’s 5200 square feet full of equipment and trainers that will get you in the best shape of your life. All you have to do is show up, and be prepared to work hard.

 

One of the biggest of its kind in the UK, our facility offers group classes from 6 in the morning until 8 at night, to suit all ages and abilities. If you have a specific target or want to work on a particular aspect of fitness, we offer individual training programmes. We’ve been running for 8 years now, so you can feel confident in our capability to get you where you want to be.

 

Located on Hove seafront, just past Hove Lagoon, we’re right on the beach, and when the weather allows, we make full use of it - we even have kayaks and SUP boards for our members to borrow. We also have pull-up rigs, kettlebells, sledges, barbells, ropes and even the odd tyre or two.

 

So what will I get from training with you? As a member of Connect you have access to our team of professional, experienced coaches. They will help you to set and achieve realistic, personal goals. They all have their own expertise and are highly qualified in their fields - a specialist in gymnastics, the holder of British and World Olympic Weightlifting titles, competitive CrossFit athletes. We also have a qualified nutritionist and sports therapist on hand to help you as you transform your health and fitness.

 

Whether you want to drop a dress size, make some serious muscle gains or just ensure you can keep up with the kids, the Connect coaches will be with you every step of the way - from getting you started, supporting and encouraging you when the going gets tough, through to celebrating with you when you smash those goals.

 

And one thing you won’t get, is bored! We don’t do routine. Our workouts are constantly varied and based on human movement, ensuring that your body and mind are challenged every time you step through the door.
